Guest guest
Best just to ignore them. Such people often show up on forums and contribute little that is really helpful. I often get the impression that they have too much time on their hands and get their jollies by wasting other people's time with endless " dialogue " and quoting half baked " studies " . They need to impress others with how much they know but rarely discuss the results they have achieved by putting all that they know into practice. I would much rather read about an individual's experiences. Real life examples are much more helpful than " studies " and endless discussion. > > > > I like to think that I am pretty open minded about exercise{excluding obvious lies and gimmicks that the fitness world is subject to} but does it bug you when people who have clearly never used a Bullworker have opinions about it. > > > > Now I have been training now for decades and have never made a secret of the fact that my main exercise modality was and remains weights. However I can recall the first time I ever used a Bullworker as a teenager and know as a matter of fact that my muscles felt firmer after only a few days. Guest guest
Well put, Marc. It's been my experience that the less people know about something, the more eager they are to put it down and ridicule it. It reminds me of the quote by Schopenhauer: "All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."My motto is "Judge only by the results".Ronn To: bullworkerclub Sent: Monday, February 20, 2012 5:15 PM Subject: Re: Does it bug you when............................ Guest guest
Does this really work? Does that work? I have seen those questions asked so many times on forums. Such and such has put together a new calisthenics program. Does it work? Well, pushups and chinups? Do they work? I dunno. Does anyone ever look at a dumbbell and ask if it works? Of course not. Everyone already knows (most everyone, anyway) that when you challenge your muscles, they will grow in size and strength. So why should anyone ask that about a Bullworker? Once someone can see how it works, why should they ask if it works? Talk about muscle overload. Here's a device that, the harder you push or pull on it, the greater the resistance becomes until you reach a point to where you can no longer budge it using all of your strength. That sounds to me like the last word in overload. Giving a Bullworker a good solid ten reps and then holding a hard live iso for ten seconds has gotta do something! > > > > From: bwbeliever RMJr@> > Subject: Re: Does it bug you when............................> > To: bullworkerclub > > Date: Monday, February 20, 2012, 9:31 PM> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > If anyone has any doubt that the Bullworker/Steel Bow, along with proper nutrition works, just check out ' before and after results with the Sit At Home program after 90 days.> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Rich> > > > > > > > -> >>
Guest guest
I have an Original Bullworker with the green handles. I have read a few books on Isometrics. I use my Bullworker more than occassionally but not as an exclusive workout. I mix up a lot of different things always trying to keep it interesting. I use my Bullworker as originally designed. A single rep and hold for 10-15 seconds. I pay close attention to proper breathing. I feel a difference when using the Bullworker and not using it. I don't know anyone who uses one nevermind using one exclusively. I also don't know anyone not mixing cardio into their weekly workout as well as trying to get a grip on diet and nutrition. I was half-hearted in my " inquiry " but I seem to have hit a nerve in doing so and would like to apologize as I didn't mean to offend. Those before and after pics on are impressive but me thinks there is more to just an " exclusive " Bullworker workout for those results. " I " will most likely never know the results of an exclusive Bullworker work-out. Even if I could afford to upgrade to both of the newest models and incorporate all the newly developed exercises into a weekly workout, I can't imagine myself being exclusive to the Bullworker for a full 90 days to see the impact of these units alone. I enjoy the reading here (and might enjoy it more without some of the run-on sentences. Guest guest
Gentlemen, On the Sit-at-Home fitness chart is the most basic nutrition plan ever... or so I think.One can hit any weight loss goal by controlling their calorie intake.Very few six-packs are visible until the 10% body fat range is reached.That being said, exercise determines how one looks when they finish dieting. Currently, I am on a different program than I have ever tried before; with the Iso-Bow.I am stronger than I have been in years and my compression on the Steel-Bow is greater than it has ever been.I also weigh more than I have in the last 4 years and do not have a six-pack.It is a journey I am testing to see the muscular results with everyday eating habits.Come March 1st, I will start a weight reduction program to observe the muscle retention with the Iso-Bow. These are not scientific tests... but they are real and those that are interested in the results, I am always willing to share. Common sense routines far outweigh the brain drain of the "ultimate" routine. Maybe not in the final results, but the price paid for the 'ultimate' is not a road I wish to travel anymore. I am more than happy with the common sense routine and I find it much more enjoyable.My opinion. Guest guest
I workout with weights, bands, and bodyweight, but I love topping off each of my exercises with a few reps followed by a live iso on my bullies. It really puts the finishing touch on them. For a few exercises I use the bullies exclusively for which they are best suited and cannot be duplicated or done as effectively by any other piece of equipment. > > > > > > > > > > > > From: bwbeliever RMJr@ > > > > > > Subject: Re: Does it bug you > > > > when............................ > > > > > > To: bullworkerclub > > > > > > Date: Monday, February 20, 2012, 9:31 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > If anyone has any doubt that the Bullworker/Steel Bow, along with > > > > proper nutrition works, just check out ' before and after > > > > results with the Sit At Home program after 90 days. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Rich > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > - > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
