Regarding the comment 'no woman deserves to be

raped', I'd say that is true, although a womans'

behavior can certainly contribute to the diminishing

of the level of victim status.

Two years before our AS discovery, my son had a

friend in our old neighborhood, with a divorced mom.

She kept bugging me to go out with her, and I finally

agreed but only to a particular bar where reggae was

playing and I'd know other people there. (I don't

like bars unless there's reggae and my local reggae

friends there).

Well, the woman was a real 'babe', quite sexy and

happy to flaunt it. In the course of the evening, she

proceeded to cock-tease three different men there (and

turned out had been sleeping with the bar owner!),

would 'report' back to me occassionally on what she

was up to, which horrified and embarassed me, so I

stayed close to others I knew there.

Apparently one of the teased men got her alone in

some back room, and another of the teased men came

along and began fighting with the first one. A huge

brawl broke out, the bar owner was furious and kicked

her out. I've never seen anything like this. Since I

had driven, I left to take her home. The bar owner

followed her out the door warning her to never set

foot back in there, and she yelled and screamed she

had done 'nothing wrong'. It was truly bizarre. She

would not accept that her own behavior brought all

that on, thought she was totally 'innocent' and no one

had the right to treat her as if she wasn't.

With a lot of alcohol thrown into the mix,

cock-teasing three different men, if she had been

raped there in the bar, I truly would not have felt

sorry for her at all, nor would have considered her an

'innocent victim'.
