I know I should just stay at home or go to the doctor. Oh well. Any suggestions would be appreciated? CINDY,MY KNEE LOCKS UP AT LEAST ONCE A NIGHT. I AM TOO YOUNG THEY SAY FOR KNEE REPLACEMENT BUT DON'T WANT IT. TOO MANY PEOPLE I KNOW HAVE HAD HORRIBLE TROUBLE AFTER REPLACEMENT. KEEPING YOUR KNEE WARM WILL HELP. LIKE USING ICY HOT. DOES YOURS DO THIS? MINE WILL BE BENT AND HORRIBLE PAIN. MY KNEE FEELS LIKE IT IS 50 POUNDS AND IT TAKES ME 15 MINUTES AND HORRIBLE PAIN TO GET IT BACK. I AM JUST WORKING ON BUILDING MUSCLE AROUND MY KNEE TO SUPPORT IT. MANY PEOPLE WITH KNEE REPLACEMENT HAVE TO SET A ALARM EVERY THREE HOURS OR THE FAKE KNEE LOCKS. I AM BONE ON BONE.6 SURGERIES AND IT IS GONE. THEY HAVE A NEW SHOT THAT BUILDS UP CARTLEDGE BACK UP. ALSO GLUCOSAMEAN SP? OTC BUILDS IT BACK UP. GOD BLESS AND HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER. Guest guest
Good Morning , My knee used to do that before my knee replacement in 1995, my suggestion is having someone if you can pull up on the back of your knee. It is probably some arthrititic stones, or pieces of joint that are lodging behind your knee cap and causing it too lock. Im sorry cause I know the pain you speak of..and the frustration you are enduring. Going to your doctor is a good idea. If you are due for a knee replacement in other leg, am sorry to say, but you probably have arthritis in that leg as well. It has a way of spreading, and its no fun. I have OA and was diagnosed when I was 28. Good luck and hope you feel better soon hug, Kat knee locked up > Has anyone had their knees to lock up on them? > > I'm suppose to have knee replacement on my other leg sometime. > It is so aggervating. > > I still have the flu or whatever, woke up with matted and red eyes. > > I'm going to try to go to work today.
