Guest guest Posted December 31, 2005 Report Share Posted December 31, 2005 Hi , as I was showering yesterday - yes, my brain just never shuts LBD out! - I remembered your post about how your mom seemed more confused in the last little while and I was wondering if she doesn't have a UTI? Mom would always seem a bit worse at times and sure enough it was a UTI. Perhaps something to check into? Wouldn't it be nice if they sold tests to check for UTI over the counter? Sure would save time at the doctors waiting for their results. We could just bring in our test strip and get a script right away. I'm sure I would have had a few more " good " days with Daddy if we had had a diagnosis sooner for his UTI's and were able to get him antibiotics sooner. He was extremely healthy physically except for those darn UTIs. Each one made him sink lower and lower into the pits of LBD, causing his thoughts and speech to be unintelligible. na in NC --------------------------------- Yahoo!
