Guest guest
That is so funny! My friend has a picture of her dog devouring some kale. I love it. We had to fence off the garden area! I was wondering what on earth was eating huge hunks out of my cabbages -- they were too big to have been made by rabbits, and even hard to believe raccoons did it... until I caught "Herbie" (Aussie), lying in the garden with a head of cabbage between his paws just chowing down! A dog! We've also observed the dogs grazing through the strawberry patch, and picking tomatoes and apples off the plants! Most people think of dogs as carnivores, but they are really omnivores. We're not the only ones who like fresh veggies! Indyrose > > > > Oh, I ache from head to foot! I started at 9:30AM yesterday, to try to get in my veggie garden, and didn't stop until it started raining around 5:00PM. I laid 5 rows of 35 ft of black plastic to smother the weeds, then went back and put in the gazillion tomatoes, cukes, squash hot and sweet peppers, zucchini, cantaloupe and eggplant. I have DOMS from head to foot! And I thought I was keeping in shape! >
Guest guest
OOh, that is funny! My Newfie would eat fruits - apples and strawberries and I know some dogs who eat carrots! Shenan, my Shar Pei mix actually loves rabbit food (the commercial pellets) go figure. But she is not much for fruits or veggies unless they are "hidden" in her food. She does love salmon though!Donna To: exercisevideos Sent: Sun, May 15, 2011 8:08:01 PMSubject: Re: DOMS, DOMS everywhere! We had to fence off the garden area! Guest guest
My terriers love carrots and tangerines, among other things. They can hear/smell me peeling a tangerine all the way across the house.
