Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor that is classified as a systemic drug, because of the enterohepatic recirculation of one of its metabolites1. This is the same one the cardiologist wants me to take, now that I refused flat out to ever take a statin again !!I printed out the Crestor adverse reactions, and I'll do the same with this one , too .
