Guest guest
Got one in!! Okay, so I think I took about a week off of exercise.. The most I've taken off in years.. maybe since post-partum of Kaysar?! Anyway, I did it to see if my sciatic nerve pain would let-up. And, NO SUCH LUCK. At all. So, I decided to workout today and we'll see how the rest of the day goes. Yesterday, was a terrible day again, the day before, not so bad. Weird. I only used one riser, and this makes stepping sooo much more easier for me! I have never used just one riser before. I will continue to do so with my pregnancy. I kept up perfectly fine. Some moves were a bit uncomfortable for me (with the sciatica), but I managed just fine. It feels soo good to have a mild workout done, the endorphins flowing, and my muscles warm! I burned 381 calories with my average at 136. Nice burn, I thought, for a 30-minute workout As long as my pain doesn't change between today and tomorrow, I plan to get another workout in and jump back in the swing of things.. Just will try to listen to my body more and scale back.Glad to be in the groove again! D
Guest guest
I can relate! Even with the sciatica, I feel like I HAVE to keep moving! I'm sure hoping the steroids do the trick, because the next step is lots of $$$. Our insurance has a very high deductible. I didn't have sciatica during my pregnancies, but I had a ganglion cyst on my left wrist, pressing on my hand nerves! (They said the baby growth hormones " helped " the cyst to grow.) I had to wait 6 weeks after delivery to get that removed. I had almost no use of my left hand by that time. It's not easy caring for a baby one-handed! Indyrose > > Got one in!!
