Guest guest
Hi there, Here is a short report on our 3rd round of chelation using 5mg of DMSA and 5mg ALA. Dosing was as previously. We currently include Candex and Crystal C during daytime doses and just Candex in night time doses. Dosing schedule held no surprises. Occasionally we are finding that starts to get a bit loud or edgy but an adrenal cortex capsule seems to sort this out within a very short time. Night time doses have been fine and not once has stayed awake after taking his night caspsule which was our main worry. Positives: Much more alert, more retention of memory. Finding his sense of humour - made me laugh till I cried today and knew he was being funny!!! This is an absolute first. Aware of what is required such as bringing in the shopping bags. Previously he would have just gone indoors never to be seen again. Now he holds opens doors, helps with bags, packs his own bag when going out etc Today he realised he had forgot something as we were leaving in the car (miracle in itself ). He took the door key from me, got out of the car, went in the house, got what he wanted came out and locked the door AND even checked that the door was locked!! A little less afraid of cats (he stayed in the front garden whilst I removed one at the rear - before he would have run a mile) Negatives: Very few so far. The main ones are as he comes off round. His hearing is more sensitive by day two off round but I think this is because they are a lot better when he is on round or so it seems. Will report more on this as it becomes clearer what is happening as has extremely sensitive hearing. The other negative is his first off round day. He is grumpy and irritable and this is my main worry with school so we must try to get a handle on this over the next two rounds. Other than that it is absolutely all positives. One last thing to add - yesterday we went to my Mother's house for the day. We always take the dvd player as takes his dvd's and does his own 'thing'. He views this as one of the perks of going to granny's house. Anyway, when we got there we found that the dvd player had broken and we were going to have to buy a new one. Normally there would have been a massive meltdown when realised that he couldn't play his discs and we would have had to dash out and buy another. We explained the situation, told him we would buy another but not today and he understood and stayed totally chilled out the whole day. Didn't even keep on about going home. This would have been unheard of a few weeks ago pre chelation.
