Guest guest Posted May 14, 2011 Report Share Posted May 14, 2011 Well, it took some persuasion to myself to workout today. Just moving slowly this morning I guess. But, I'm thrilled to say that I am so glad i got one in (of course). I chose Tracey's High Intensity Step Mix 2 and did the first 30 minutes of it. I enjoyed it, and caught on easy enough, and the time did go by fast. Just that my legs feel like lead, and I can't move them very quickly anymore..ugh.. I modified here and there and had an alright workout. I checked my HRM and had burned 307 calories when I was done with it at the 30-minute mark. Afterwards, I decided to go with some yoga. Well, I put in Rockin Models and decided to do the warm-up and use it as a cool-down. Wow, it elevated my heart rate..LOL.. I went on to do the first two yoga sessions, and the standing leg session. It was 20 minutes in total. I was checking my HRM throughout and couldn't believe that it was hitting in the 140's during yoga! Wow, this is great to know though. I know that I can get a cardio workout in w/out any impact at all!  I shut my HRM off at 51 minutes and burned 567 calories with my average at 133. The yoga felt great! It had been too long since I had done any!
