Guest guest
Still in my cast/splint for another month so my exercise routine has dropped off.I still walk dogs and get some ab work in but that is about itI am busy with work and dog agility. Rose may be onlyone to understand this but the American Kennel Club (AKC) invites the top 5 dogs of their breed for agility to compete in an invitational only event. It is based on a formula based on qualifying scores and speed points. This year the invitational is in orlando and as of April 16, both my dogs (german shorthair pointers) are in top 5. So i am basically doing agility every weekend until end of qualifying period...june 30th...So i will be reading emails but will be posting sporadically until then. Now the ugly truth...I know we all love exercise and I really think being physically active is one of the most important things for your health (heck i even wrote a book chapter on the Economics of Physical Activity). But if weight loss is your goal...diet is SO important...because of my broken wrist and lack of consistent exercise, I have been really focusing on diet and making those smart/lifestyle changes that WW teaches... In the month since my i have done this i have lost 8lbs ~ 2lb a week. I am still eating not so healthy stuff (tues ate lobster ravioli in cream sauce at work dinner), i just balance with good like fruit smoothie and salad for breakfast. I hope to keep this up and when i add exercise really drop weight. the invitational is in dec and hope to do lots if hiit prior to get my sprint speed upjudy in dc
