Guest guest Posted May 8, 2011 Report Share Posted May 8, 2011 Today I did Cathe's Muscle Max. I cannot say that I am crazy about this one. My main problem is that I have a very weak upper body so I did the best I could. I did have to cut a couple of things short. There was no way that I could use the weights that Cathe was using for most things. On the pushups, I did them all, but they always say that these are for the chest, I never ever feel them in my chest, only in my arms. Also, on the dumbell flys that are supposed to be for the chest, I only feel them in my biceps and that is it. For the barbell pullovers, she used 30 pounds, I used 20 and could barely do them, I couldn't go lower as I only have a cheapie barbell and 10 lb. weights is the lowest it has. Those ones where she does a front barbell raise into a pull in thingie, she used 20, no way could I do those, I ended up using 8 pound dumbells. I know I need to do this more often to increase my strength, but I always feel like such a wimp that I don't like to do strength stuff. I am off to do Mother's day stuff now and chores as well. Hi all, I actually did my workout around 7:00 AM today but am just now getting around to posting it. I did Cathe's 4 day split kickboxing. I totally loved this workout. I think I have done it once before. Kickboxing is my favorite type of workout to do. This was fun and the time passed very quickly even though is was a 71 minute workout. The kickboxing section was over in the blink of an eye and the weights went by quickly as well. I got nice and sweaty, I didn't realize how sweaty until I sat down to take off my ankle weights and left a big sweaty butt print on my high step, sorry, TMI I know. Tomorrow I am scheduled for MMA kickbox so I expect another good fun workout. I don't think I have done that one before, I need to go check if it will require any equipment and how long it is, that's why I love 's site and collage, those are the kind of things I use them for, LOL.
