Guest guest
Just got some more new workouts from a VF trade last week... Cathe Gym Style Back, Shoulders & Biceps Cathe Gym Style Legs (I see that one is 67 minutes if you do the entire thing at once, sounds like one of 's leg days with Noel!) I just need to get Gym Style Chest & Triceps now... if anyone knows of anyone wanting to get rid of it for cheap, please let me know, I'm a sucker for complete sets, especially when they're body part workouts like this! I haven't been working out much lately the last few weeks just due to my schedule being a little more insane than normal and, honestly, not wanting to find ways to fit in exercise too. I've done some but not a lot and not consistently. I'm sick of that again so I will plan a rotation for next week though and hope to include some of my new Cathes. I see my buddy Sara is posting again and that got me thinking about Jari Love and since I have some Jari virgins too I want to slot them in as well now! We have to go buy a new washing machine today. The part came in for our old one and the guy called to say as they went to put it in they realized the washer was in much worse shape than they'd thought and advised us to just buy a new one. Bummer. We went shopping yesterday and found two we liked then narrowed it down last night. I also have to go to a laundromat because everyone is running out of clothes and we probably won't have the new one for a few more days. I just want to get through one month without needing to make a major, unexpected purchase (the last few months it was my car, now this). The good thing about the new washer is that it will be a high efficiency one which, in theory anyway, should save us money on electricity and gas (since the clothes come out less wet it will take less time to dry them) and on salt for our water softener (and we recently were forced by township to buy much more expensive salt for eco reasons so it will be good to not use as much of that stuff too). There's always a silver lining. Sometimes the clouds obscure it pretty well but if you look hard enough, it is there. I'm trying to keep looking despite my mounting credit card bill! :-)
Guest guest
I wanted to say HUGS on all the breakages As a single homeowner these things are on my nightmare list. I actually *talk* to my appliances and tell them how grateful I am that they work. All but my washer and dryer came with the house, and while in a dream world someplace I'd rather have a fridge that was stainless steel with an automatic icemaker and cold water dispenser I'd still rather have the ordinary one that I have over buying a new one! I hope you are done with breakages for a long long time and that these new ones will last AGES! My folks have a Kelvinator refrigerator freezer from the 1950's THAT HAS NEVER NEEDED REPAIR - IT STILL WORKS!!! It has this retro triangle handle and says in big letters, KELVINATOR. I'm telling you, they don't make 'em like they used to!! Just got some more new workouts from a VF trade last week... Guest guest
Thanks so much, !! I've tried talking to mine, I wish it worked! Then again, I kill plants too, no matter how much sweet talk they get! :-) We had a 2nd hand fridge that we were told would last at most 2-3 years and it last about 10. I was hoping that store was still around but they closed up a long time ago, oh well. Guest guest
Yes, ! I hope this is it - buying new appliances, especially in unexpected scenarios is never fun. A few years ago our washer broke on Father's Day w/ a load of wash in it. We ended up getting one of the high efficiency front end loaders, so far so good. About 6 months after we bought it it went bonkers, (everything is computerized now!) but it was fixed and *knock wood* has been ok since. Take care!Donna p.s. my big fear is our well pump breaking.... Guest guest
We've had well problems in the past, that is really awful money-wise. Anytime I see a well company truck at a neighbor's house (like last week, next door) I say a little prayer for them! My washer was finishing the spin cycle when it started to smoke and thankfully none of the clothes were damaged. I was able to pop them in the dryer and all was well in that sense anyway. Meanwhile I was listening to something on the radio earlier today about a couple in Alabama who had escaped serious damage in the storms there though they were out of power and were remarking that they had to open their windows because they had no air conditioning. Then they were reminded that at least they had windows to open... I'm not complaining about a fried washing machine again... Guest guest
Ugh, sorry about the appliance rebellion, ! But YAY for new Cathe workouts, lol. We got a new fridge in January (been limping the old one along for about 2 years after it started acting up) and got a new washer and dryer about three weeks ago, too. I've been talking about getting a front loading washer for about 8 years, and it finally happened, heh. And you know me with my cheapness - so I can't recommend the Sears scratch and dent outlet enough! They had such a great selection and I found just what I wanted in both cases. Though, I suppose you need to be able to haul the stuff home...not sure they would fit in your sedan...lol. I hope everything else keeps workin'! Hugs, Sara > > Thanks so much, !!
