Guest guest
glad to hear you are okay! that was very awesome of BB to send you some workouts to replace ones damaged. i hope things get somewhat back to normal for you. i don't think i could keep the attitude you seem to portray right now, so i commend you on being so strong. *hugs* to all and good thoughts and prayers! KASSIAwife,mother,student,kettlebellehttp://ldysolana.blogspot.comTo: exercisevideos Sent: Friday, May 6, 2011 10:06 PMSubject: update and blessings! Hey guys! Some of you know this from Facebook, but a week ago on Wednesday, tornadoes ripped through the south all day long. The third string of tornadoes that came through the town I lived in destroyed our house. WE were very blessed to walk out of our house unharmed, but lost a great majority of our possessions. One of my first of many crazy thoughts was that I hoped my workout DVD's were ok. Well... they were all in my living room and the roof was completely ripped off, so many of them were scattered and many were broken or we just couldn't find them. I was also upset that my Turbo Kick Rounds were all destroyed. I kept them all in a shoe box in my upstairs bedroom and the windows were all blown out and the roof was blown off there too. I found a few, but not many. Anyway... I wanted to share some blessings! As many of you know, but I don't go around telling this, I am a BB coach. My coach called the CEO of the company and just 2 days ago (less than a week since the tornado destroyed out house), he sent me many workouts to replace the ones I lost, plus more! He sent me Turbo Fire, INSANITY (which I had both of those), Power 90, Brazillian Butt Lift, Slim in 6, P90X One on One, plus a lot of other stuff! I am so thankful to him and the company, and my coach for caring so much to do this! I did lose ChaLEAN Extreme and RevAbs, but I am so thankful to just be alive that I can easily replace them!!!!!Anyway, I have not been exercising and have not had power much, so I haven't checked this group emails since last week. I did decide to give up my Turbo Kick class for a while... I just don't know if I can focus enough to teach and the class deserves someone that can teach well. Plus, the girl that was on maternity leave is taking back over teh class I taught. I am actually excited to just take some classes for now instead of teaching. Now I just need to find motivation to workout at home... I have no excuses now that I have these new workouts from BB!! :)I just wanted to share that even in bad things, God can make so many good things happen! I am very blessed and so glad that my family is ok. our neighbors were injured severly, but are alive. Thanks guys and looking forward to reading your updates soon! ------------------------------------
Guest guest
Oh my goodness!!! I am SO, SO sorry to hear about your house but so thankful to know you and your family are well and that is so kind of BB to replace many of your workouts. Oh my gosh, I have not idea what to say except I am, like everyone else I'm sure, so thankful to hear from you and about your blessings and amazing attitude. I will surely keep you (as I have been that entire area of the country) in my prayers as you continue to recover from the aftermath of the tornadoes. Hugs, update and blessings! Hey guys! Guest guest
Teena, I'm so sorry to hear about your house! Where are you staying now, with friends/family? I don't read FB a lot because I don't need to get addicted to one more thing, my email and soaps are enough! I did read on FB about someone in your family sleep walking....but that's all I read. I hope that your coach will replace CLX and Rev Abs too!You are BLESSED to be alive! Jen -- Subject: update and blessings! To: exercisevideos Date: Friday, May 6, 2011, 10:06 PM Hey guys! Guest guest
Teena -- I'm glad you are okay, even though you're probably still in shock! I've seen tornadoes close up, but never lost anything from them, although our neighbors did! They are nasty things! I'd offer to send you some of my workouts, but I've got a grand total of 4 -- and they are beginner level. Indyrose > > > > > > > Hey guys! Guest guest
Teena,How scary! I am so glad you're OK. You have an amazingly positive spirit in spite of all you've been through. It's hard to imagine. It'll probably feel good to squeeze in a workout, kinda normal. It's so nice that BB came through like that. It's good to hear of a company that has a heart. My best wishes for your family and your community. Hey guys! Guest guest
Hi Teena, I'm so sorry to hear about your tornado damage, but am glad everyone is okay. We get more than enough tornado activity here in WI, and they are one of my big fears and one reason I will likely always live somewhere with a basement. We've spent too many times waiting out warnings and watches in the basement, and areas near me have been hit very hard in the past, but we've been lucky, thankfully. I hope things return to normal as soon as possible for you and your family. Take good care, Sara > > Hey guys!
