Guest guest
It sounds like you had fun ! Glad you like your new gadgets. I got the Gizmo can opener for Christmas and I really like it. But I wonder how long it will last. You're right, they just don¹t make things like the used to. We live in a throw away society. a > Went shopping at a kitchen shop yesterday. Guest guest
I just registered for wedding stuff at fortunoff;s (www.fortunoff.com) and I found a great supply of " OXO Good Grips " kitchen gadgets. they are great! ergonomic and strong. They were a little more money- but boy do I think it was worth it. my hands are so weak, and these little tools help so much in the kitchen! they are made so well and they really help! - www.butyoudontlooksick.com > It sounds like you had fun ! Guest guest
LOL! I agree, I don't spend a lot on myself as in clothes, drugs, cigarettes and only the occasional drink. (two and I am tipsy and have bad heartburn!) I do love shoes/boots though but still do not spend much there either. Have to say would spend most on household gadgets but no where compare to some in this group. WTG for those that can! Carolyn In a message dated 4/1/2011 3:54:12 P.M. I have no use for shoes, jewelry, knick knacks, drugs, or booze-so move over and gimme my gadgets! Oh, good--that's encouraging news! I hope you find yours--we can compare notes! This one has a guard that's held in place with a pin but I see that the demonstrators often take them off. I really like the fact that's it's not electric and hasn't a bunch of large pieces that I'd need to wash. I'm particularly looking forward to using it for onions--a chore I really don't feel like relegating to my Vita-Mix or my Norwalk (and the Cuisinart is put away, so...).I wonder if this slices thin enough for dehydrating? I can tell you straight off that the "crinkle cut" cone will probably NEVER see any use. There's also a sixth cone that does thick slices; it's about $12+shipping. ..
