Guest guest
I agree with some of what was in there. Open mindedness goes both ways. This was clearly anti-statin. which is fine. I asked about cancer because it was not specified. For that I am labeled close minded. But that is a typical attack here. The preventative part is great. That is the biggest problem I see in America today. There is a laziness in America to be preventative. It is a shame really. We eat like crap and then want to take a pill to fix it. We want a pill to fix everything here in America. On top of that we don't want to pay for it. We will pay $1.15 for a 16 oz bottle of coke and complain about $2.00 for gas. But the coke costs $9.20 a gallon. Unbelievable. Do drugs cost a lot? yea. Does research cost a lot? yea. Do lawsuits cost a lot yea? yes. Does that mean we should have the government subsidize the meds? I don't know. But I know for a fact that if the government does it then I will be paying even more for my meds. Because I will have to pay for mine and my families and someone else's. But we do what we have to do. Open mindedness goes both ways, except for here. All statins are all bad all the time. And that just is not true. Nothing is all this or that all the time no matter what! What is the optimal range for ldl, or is there even one to be considered. I ask this in all honesty. Is a 400 ldl good? For anyone? I am curious and I ask because I am trying to feel all of this out from both ends. Matt Another Side Of The Story This article makes some sense to me.
