Guest guest
Yay Indyrose!! Congratulations in finishing your first charity walk.Vennitta Well, I did it! This was my first charity walk, but it probably won't be the last. I stayed with my company group for about the first 10 minutes, but after that I pushed on to do a power walk. I wore my HRM and kept " in the zone " throughout the entire walk. It was quite an experience. Although I knew a lot of people walking, I didn't see any of them amidst the 40K people, so I was kind-of alone in the crowd. The crowd was quite diverse, with many people celebrating life by means of dressing up. I was back home by 11AM, so it was a good morning! Guest guest
Indyrose I'm glad you had a good time! It's true, you really are alone in a crowd but it always gives me the tingles. Happy to hear you pushed yourself (safely) and are more than likely going to do another! If you have any pics of this, can you send to me to use for the home page? Thanks! Congratulations Indy!! Guest guest
Glad it was a good one, Indyrose. Maybe I'll see if my walking friend (she is more than that, too - but we do walk regularly together) is up for a charity walk!Donna To: exercisevideos Sent: Sat, April 16, 2011 11:37:02 AMSubject: Komen 5K Well, I did it!
