Hi Patti,

I have to say, I think what you are describing is an

age thing, because I don't think what you are speaking

of here pertains just to people with LBD or dementia.

I think this is a common age thing. And I have read

that it is normal with age to forget a word you are

trying to remember or forget what you are even talking

about in the first place. Losing your train of thought

comes with age. My friends and I are in our 50's and

we all encounter this at times when we are speaking.

Mid sentence we will forget where we are going with

what we are talking about and what was it we were

talking about in the first place. I do that too where

my mind races about what is it I was talking about and

I struggle to pick up on it and then I have to tell

everyone, I'm sorry but I've lost my train of thought

and what I'm even talking about. Even finding the

correct word these days plays into it. Many times I

can't find the word in my head that I'm looking for

and it takes awhile for it to surface, if at all.

I don't have dementia/LBD and I can identify with you

on this one........Hugs, Jan
