Guest guest
Hi Chip- I enjoyed reading your post, and looking up at our ceiling fan I am reminded of the problems even I have had with them. Never really know if the speed is on 'low' or if the whole fan is off. I guess it is all about patience - something I don't always show. Enjoy your Fourth!! Hugs from Iowa - where we have had our air running for the past 2 weeks or so...humidity can kill ya here in Iowa! Sandie and -- How complicated can a ceiling fan be? Hi Friends, Thinking of you this Fourth of July day. Hope yours is special and what you want it to be. It's hot here in the South this time of the year. We use our whole house air and several ceiling fans to make the best of it. I have little problem operating the air conditioner. I just have to turn the thermostat on a certain temperature and bingo. I have it. Now the ceiling fans is another matter. They must be switched on inside the home and then the second action to make them go is to pull on a cord on them Now, the fan has atleast three positions and here is where most of the trouble occurs. When turning them off, I never know what position they are on. I think I have them off and when I accidentally check some time later, many times they are still in motion. Go figure. After turning them off, it takes some time for the blades to slow down and I will my inability to have patience and wait for them to stop, quickly leave thinking all is off, and many times just not thinking at all. Just leaving. One might think that if this is my only problem, I'm pretty fortunate but it's just one of them..All in a day as I say. It's just one of many irritating problems that occur in my life. The build up of these little incidents is what drives me near the edge and some days it's much worse than on others. I guess it's not the big things that bother me, it's the accumulation of all these little things that irritate the heck out of me. Just thot I'd share a few moments in the life of Chip. I also want to know that I read your posts, care about your situations and want you to know we care . Take care of yourselves, laugh lots and think of us often. Love, Chip Gerber
