Guest guest
I dug around until I found the Jillian DVD that I bought at the used bookstore. I bought "6 Week Six-Pack". Is this one good? I may do it in the morning after all this talk about her workout DVD's! I'm suppposed to be doing Phase 2 of RevAbs, but may take a week off from that and do this and some more of my Pilates workouts (along with my Turbo). I bought it when I got the new Jari so that I wouldn't have to pay shipping. I like all of Jillian's workouts, I know a lot of people don't. in CA To: exercisevideos From: donna112520@...Date: Mon, 18 Apr 2011 15:53:04 -0700Subject: Re: Jillian's New Ripped in 30 Thanks for the review, Kassia. This morning busted the plastic off Jillian's Ripped in 30!! The 4 workouts are the same format as her 30 Day Shred Workout with 3 minutes of strength, 2 of cardio (drill type) and 1 minute of abs. If you have done a Jillian workout, it is still Jillian with the push it through encouragement and combination strength lifts because she says doing bicep curls alone won't burn calories; you have to use the legs and arms together. I modified the cardio (except skaters) on the rebounder again. This worked extremely well because you are jumping a lot. You can have a 25 minute workout without doing the high intensity moves! She says she will not repeat exercises in the other 3 workouts. I am currently previewing workout #2 and I have not seen a repeat from workout #1, however, some exercises are repeated from Shred, but not in the same order and not particularly in the same workouts. Despite the not-so great kettlebell workout and the brief hawking of weight loss supplements, I really still do like Jillian. She does give you the best intensity in the short amount of time and gives a good structure that is easy to follow and stick with. I also believe that she truly does believe in what she does and she really wants everybody to share the feeling of good results from good eating and exercise. She probably got lost in the limelight and that sent her to promoting things that don't seem to fit into her original theories of fitness. There will be a Jillian rotation soon using her older workouts and her newer workouts and running(at least another week!) I can't wait because these workouts are a perfect fit to get in your strength while focusing on endurance cardio. Guest guest
i have this one but haven't opened it yet. part of why i wanted to do the rotation was to fit it it. i have her older ones. no more trouble zones (traded but then reacquired it was just to good to stay gone ) i haven't done the second part to her yoga workout yet either. i have pretty much done all the other ones (including the teen cosmo) wasn't the worse workout on the planet but i prefer a little more UMPF in my dance workouts plus her outfit in that was AAGGGGHHHHH! i have to tell my neighbors all the time that i don't want to see their undershorts LOLKASSIAwife,mother,student,kettlebellehttp://ldysolana.blogspot.comSubject: RE: Jillian's New Ripped in 30To: exercisevideos Date: Monday, April 18, 2011, 10:59 PM I dug around until I found the Jillian DVD that I bought at the used bookstore.
