It started about two weeks ago. I was doing my five mile jog and

noticed the next morning that the right knee joint had swelled to

twice its normal size. I didn't see this as a problem because I had

dislocated ny knee before. With lots of vioxx and pain meds I was up

on my feet in 5 days. Three days ago while at work I noticed that my

right shoulder began to swell. It got so bad that the fluid spread

down to my wrist and hand making me incapable of using it. The pain

was excruciating. Now I am having swelling everywhere on my body

including alternate elbows, chest pains, severe shoulder pains. The

vioxx is no longer working and I am on severe pain meds to cut the

paim. I work at a hospital and had my blood drawn showing no RF but

anemia and a WBC was present. One md keeps insisting that I have

bursitis which just isn't possible considering the mulitude of

loactions of pain and symptoms. Quite frankly i can not get anyone to

give me a straight answer and what is pathetic is that I am an RN.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with my primary who is a good friend.

I am going to tell him it has to be rheumatory and hopes he helps.

Has anyone else had as many problems as I have getting diagnosed? If

it takes two weeks to see results what do you take if vioxx no longer

helps? All help would be appreciated!
