Guest guest Posted August 5, 2011 Report Share Posted August 5, 2011 The PCT has agreed to a referral for a second opinion from Dr Baxter in Sheffield re using B6 for Henry's seizures! I was told a couple of weeks back it could be very difficult to get them to agree. He is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist and a world expert on B6 and seizures. Locally they want him off the B6 and on Carbamazepine and I don't feel we have given the B6 a good enough try at a high enough sdose so far, so I am very relieved we shall now be seeing Dr Baxter. Even if the B6 isn't the answer any more for Henry, I don't want it ruled out until we finally have given it a good go. Margaret Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
