Friday and Saturday was spent doing a lot of yard work -- Low intensity, long duration. It actually involved a lot of squats and weights, and I had to do a military press to get some of the dead branches over the sidewalls of our pick-up truck. But this morning the sciatica pain in my butt was back... I tried to ignore it. Since it was raining most of the day (AGAIN!!!) I just did light stuff indoors. I went to do a regular aerobics workout -- my current favorite, Cathe's Basic Step -- and I barely made it through the warm up. So I switched to a pilates 20 minute killer workout, and did most of the work on the core. But I keep getting more and more pains in the butt. (I want to say the glutes, but I understand it is really the piriformis.) Anyway, I barely finished that, and now I have a nasty pain in the butt again! I think I'm allergic to yard work. It gives me sciatica. :-( That's too bad, cause with the heavy rains, I've decided to go to raised bed gardening, and I'll have to make and fill those...
