Guest guest
My sinuses are still bothering me but aren't as bad as they were. However, my poor Mom has a bad sinus infection, sneezing, runny nose, sore throat and she's losing her voice. She's never had a sinus infection before so I told her she needs to eat and drink "warm" foods, like soup and hot tea or coffee as well as drink a lot of water. I told her she should go to the Dr. but she doesn't want to go..she is so STUBBORN! Anyway, she will find out quick that if she doesn't get an antibiotic, it won't go away. I took my state test for interpreting on Wednesday but I'm not sure if I will pass it or not. The test pages were in sheet protectors that had horizontal and vertical ribbing which made the pages very blurry when I tried to read them. I complained to the proctor but they won't do anything about it. The test itself wasn't that hard to me and it will me a shame if I don't pass because of the stupid sheet protectors! I won't be able to work after the first week in June if I don't pass this test so I'm under a tremendous amount of stress! I'm trying to stay positive but it's HARD! Hi Teena, I've decided to do Rev Abs later when my sinus problems are completely gone. I can't do jumping jacks right now because when I do, I cough and Rev Abs has A LOT of jumping jacks! Sorry about that. Why don't you go ahead and start Supreme 90 Days and I will do my exercise plan. We can still cheer each other on right? I'm still trying to train for the 5K walk I'm doing on May 14th. If I'm still not well and the weather is bad, I will just go and pick up my event t-shirt and skip the walk. I'm going to do my best to train for it these two weeks and hopefully I will be up for it and the weather will cooperate. Here is my exercise plan:I'm going to work up to walking twice a day for at least 30 minutes each. Once a week I will do a longer 45 minute to 1 hour walk.I'm going to follow Kathy 's Project YOU from Beach body. I've never done this plan although I have done a couple of workouts for it.I'm not going to do her cardio workouts because I'm going to walk instead. I'm planning to do all of her strength training, yoga and pilates workouts but it won't be "as written," I need to make the plan "my own" if you know what I mean.I hope this works out better for me, God knows I need something GOOD to happen for a change! Guest guest
Hi Jen, Sounds like a good plan! I hope your foot heals quickly - and your Mom, too! Hope things go well with your test results, too. Can you re-take the test if you don't pass? Looking forward to hearing about Project You. I really enjoy the strength workouts from that set, but I don't think I've done much with the cardio or audio workouts. Though I did just add the audio workouts to my walking playlist today, along with a few other Kathy audio workouts. Sara > > My sinuses are still bothering me but aren't as bad as they were. Guest guest
Hi Jen!Project You sounds like a very good plan! Remember, take it easy, small steps done consistently give better results than giant steps taken inconsistently!I hope you passed your test- you probably did - let us know when you find out - Donna p.s. I hear you on the stubborn mother thing - mine is the same way!
