Guest guest
Gentlemen, The X-5 design originates from 1980. Different color variations were tried, but the design was the same. In 2005, the original UK manufacturer ceased production. The UK Licensee at the time made a 4-model X-5 that was designed to have different spring tensions identified by the color of the product. I found this version inferior in quality and went to Japan, who was making the highest quality X-5 model available: X-5 Gold. The components were stronger and smoother. When the UK ceased their 4-model versions, they went with a single X-5 model; but in my opinion, again the quality was not as high as the X-5 Gold. By the way, the Japan model was an authorized Bullworker production. When the UK licensee ceased doing business in 2007, I absorbed the market and only offered the X-5 Gold. As the whole purpose of the X-5 design was increased compression distance in addition to 3-levels of pulling, the only true difference was the smoothness of operation, which is where the X-5 Gold excelled. In 2008, Japan ceased production of the X-5 Gold. It was an excellent design that is still on our "R & D" for future adjustments. Respectfully, Bullworker ..
