My 80 year old sister

She doesn't live with me but is in a Personal Care Home about an hour and a

half away.

It seems when she is hear we don't have the far out things that is happening

there.

One time in the past week or so she was holding tight to the door frame, it

seemed she was hugging her husband that has been dead many times. Then one

night she went to the bath room and didn't come out for sometime so the person

on duty went to see about her and she was curled up on the floor saying she

was in her bed!! So it makes me wonder what happens there that brings these

things on. I find it hard to believe she would do ok here and then have those

kind of things happening to her there.

I will be taking her to Tallahassee to the Memory Disorder Clinic next Mon

and Tues for evaluation.

The sister living with me I know has a combo of Alz and LBD, hasn't been

diagnosed as such, but I would bet a bunch that is the case. She hasn't had any

hallucinations in 3 or 4 years and except for short term memory has no other

symptoms. She did present with lbd symptoms at the on set. Don't understand,

just know that as of now, short term memory is the only problem.

Just thought I would ramble for a while.

I realize there is just so much can be done for the 80 year old sister at

this time, so does she and that her condition will only get worse.
