Guest guest
I have been on Lipitor for about 2 years now and I have recently (within the last month or so) started having a lot of aches and pains in my hands (sometimes when I wake up in the morning I can hardly move them) and also in my feet. At first I just thought I'd done too much walking but I really hadn't done anything out of the ordinary and lessening my activity level doesn't seem to affect it at all. I was just wondering if these muscles and joints that are so achy could be a result of the Lipitor. I haven't spoken to the doctor yet about it since he just increased the Lipitor a few months ago so I'm pretty sure he'd feel that it wasn't the meds that are causing this but I'm not so sure. Has anyone else ever had aches and pains in these areas that was a result of the statin? The doctor also just put my husband on Pravachol along with Tricor and I'm concerned about this too. He's on a number of other meds including Coumadin and I don't know if this is such a great idea. Ginny
