Hi Everyone!Today was "mindless" cardio so I spent 45 min on the recumbent bike. I'm getting better at it b/c I can go longer and at higher resistance. And, the mindless thing is just about right for me some days. I read fitness magazines and watch the news to pass the time. I added on a recorded episode of Classical Stretch - still on Season 5 on my PBS station. I was lurking a bit on the CS check in on VF and I'm DYING to get Season 6 & 7, but I'm going to try to hold off until Miranda offers a special on shipping. Sometimes she offers free shipping if you buy two or more items. That will save me around $14 and since these sets are pricey, it is worth it! I'm actually doing really well with my no-buying challenge. I told myself I had to make it to April 1st and

so far so good! I'm not even all that tempted to buy new stuff. I think eventually I'd like to get the new Austin cardio workout - clips look good and I love workouts that are broken into segments (I think this one is 2 20 min segments). I saw Joanna on VF posted a mega rotation in the Combo/Rotation section on VF of 20 min workouts. I may try to come up with something like that myself. I have dozens of 20 min workouts - PowerFits, Firm Express, 10 Min Solutions (do 2 for 20 min), Barry's Bootcamp, Austin's Bootcamps, Montenegro Method (plus dozens of others that can easily be split into 20 min workouts). To me, that timeframe is perfect - if I am tight on time or short on energy or motivation - I can just do one workout (usually, I will feel better enough afterwards to add on more!) but if I have more time, energy and

motivation I can keep adding on until I'm done. The Classical Stretch TV series would also be good since the episodes are around 24 minutes.

Oh - please send good thoughts for my cat - he has a strange lump on his left side. he was at the vet today and next Friday they're going to do x-rays to see if it has spread, and if it looks contained, they're going to remove the tumor. Hopefully it is nothing. About two years ago we had to put his brother to sleep. He is a very, very sweet and affectionate cat!

Take care-

Donna
