Guest guest
With the " discovery " of my 30+ year old Bullworker, I have spent a bit of time searching the Internet for all I can find on the Bullworker and similar products. I would guess that the Bullworker's patent ran out sometime around 1980, and since then a number of Bullys have appeared on the market. One that really stands out is the Bully Xtreme, owned by " Farnk Sherrill " , or Bert , or what ever his name is. The reason the Bully Xtreme stands out so prominently is because " " (I'll just refer to him as ), has flooded the internet with Bully X marketing in which he has used some really low, underhanded, and unscrupulous tactics to attract potential customers. If you were to do a search for the Bullworker, for example, you'll find umpteen supposedly unbiased " comparisons " between the Bullworker and the Bully X, which, as it turns out, are nothing more than lengthy marketing plugs for the Bully X. Farnk has also very cleverly set things up so that a search for the Bullworker will lead you to the Bully X. There are other examples of his underhandedness. If you were to just start searching around, you'll find out what I'm talking about. Also, I got myself on the Bully X mailing list and I have received a couple of emails from that I found a quite strange, and really made me wonder about this guy. Anyone else here who has received those same emails will know what I'm talking about. , on the otherhand, has never been anything but up-front and honest about himself and his product. A couple of my posts on this forum have resulted in emails to me from , and he comes across as a really decent, honest guy, as well as a real gentleman. The Bully X may or may not be a quality item, but as far as I'm concerned, that fact is moot because I simply wouldn't want to give any of my business based upon what I've found in my searches. And besides, the new Bullworker blows all the competition away, anyway. Here's an example I found of how handles himself when attacked: http://www.amazon.com/tag/bullworker/forum?_encoding=UTF8 & cdForum=Fx2G62YRBI5R0I\ E & cdThread=Tx1JT0FVWPR9EAK & displayType=tagsDetail
