Guest guest
Hi; I noticed Courage recommended Moleskin and I had been wondering if Moleskin would work. Glad to know it does. Do you apply it directly to the sore or over gauze? My husband is still in a Transitional Care Unit but he either will go full time into a NH or I bring him home. I have decided on the latter. I can't give him the care he gets in a good NH but I think he is getting worse mentally where he is. He wants to be home so somehow we will make it work. He is fighting bedsores, and so far between the turning and the zinc ointment and the care, he is okay. But if I need to I am glad I can turn to my old friend, Moleskin. I suggest that if you are using it, try a good sporting goods store specializing in hiking. I used to buy it in large sheets much cheaper than I could in a pharmacy. It works great with foot blisters. Dixie
