Guest guest Posted March 9, 2006 Report Share Posted March 9, 2006 Barb I was down to only 5 hours a week because of my pain and they keep asking me to cut my hours because they saw that I was in so much pain and I really couldn't do much, so they put me at the receptionist desk and I still couldn't do that sitting is the most painful thing I can do. I was sitting out my 5 hours a week until end of Sept. I was schedule for piriformis muscle surgery, it's where they cut that muscle in your butt. On the day of the surgery when me and my husband went in the surgery didn't want to do the surgery and wanted to try this new thing of doing botox injections in the muscle. I feel like I am a lost cause, I'm suck in the middle I have suffered working with pain and now I can't even do that and they still don't know what I have and won't dignoise me they just say I am a very hard case, but yet until they diagnose me I can't even try to begin to apply for disability. I never went back after that I just got the first botox injection on January 25th in the muscle and it didn't help and it made my pain worse. I love my work and they said I could come back anytime, but I can't do it. This was a new doctor I went to Friday and he had the same things to say as all the others. He wants me to go in for ANOTHER MRI Monday and it's so stupid. I just don't know how or where to find a good pain doctor. thank you I miss our daughter everyday, it's so hard to look at her twin brother and wonder how much they would have looked a like now. What the doctors don't understand is you have to get the pain under control first then you can start the exercise or walking thing. They think you are going to get up in so much pain that you can't even do your daily life things, but you are going to go ride a bike or walk, but I can't even get my shoe on my right foot with out pain or help from my husband to tie my shoes. That is such a joke. My poor husband he has had to work two jobs and close his own business because of this stupid pain because I lost our health insurance because I went from full time to part time to part part time and now not working at all.
