Hi all,

I just found this group and hopefully will find some good advice. I

am not currently taking a statin drug, but my doctor just recently

prescribed Crestor for me. You see, my cholesterol level is at 353

(triglycerides at 419). I'm 32 years old and have a family history

of high cholesterol (my father had it). I'm not overweight, but I

know I could go to the gym more often.

I'm a little concerned about taking this drug from what little I've

read. I'm guessing that just about everyone in this group will tell

me not to take it. Besides exercise and diet, what else is everyone

doing to lower their cholesterol?
