Guest guest
Helen, I think that I have posted about 's experiences before, so I will just be brief. The first she had was very traumatic - a lot of pain and post-op bleeding. The second was not has bad, but they were doing much less work. Both needed to be done to solve some problems, but neither solved her chronic sinusitis like we hoped. The combo of sinus irrigation and IVIg have given us the best results. Although Jess is fighting an infection as we speak! Jess said that the PICC line was no more tender that a regular IV - she has had three, so she knows what she is talking about. The one she liked best was placed several inches above her elbow on the inside. It was the most out of the way. We will be thinking and praying for Matt and your family. Autumn - A question-how long did Mark's " honeymoon period " last after he started IVIg? Kim, mom to , selective antibody deficiency
