Guest guest
Congratulations on Finding this Group ! I am curious about the ABCs for MSers. After reading the Links to this chat-group I chose NOT to start. The "Why I Choose NOT to do ABCs" helped my decision. (Found within these LINKs) I have been fortunate to have mild symptoms so far. I have TWO Questions for The Group: What is your opinion of the ABCs? and WHY isn't "WaterCure2.com" listed on the Web-Pages below? -Tom-
Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I'm new to the list and to MS. I'm a 40 year old single working mom with a 16 year old daughter. My family is all in other states. Not much in the way of support here, but we are coping with that as well. Now I have all of you, thanks!! I was originally diagnosed with a stroke in May. I found out the results from my 6 month MRI on December 11, 2001 and I have now been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I have two lesions on my brain and one on my spinal column. I had a lumbar puncture on the 18th. I see the neurologist again on the 11th of January for more info. He maintains that I still have a dark spot on the left side (stroke) and the 3 bright ones (MS). My Copaxone arrived by UPS on ice today and on the 2nd the home nurse will come to teach me to do the injections properly. I'm feeling better now, was depressed and had a major headache for about 2 weeks. But like everything else I will deal with this. There is so much info out there that I have info overload. LOL My work has been great through all of this. I work for Boeing Aerospace in St. Louis, MO. I'm getting a laptop so I can be connected to work from home so if I have a bad day then I can work from home and not eat up all my vacation and sick leave. My insurance has been great also, the customer service rep called and told me everything that is available to me, unbelievable! She said they would pay for a scooter and a lift if I felt they are necessary. I'm not ready for that yet, but it's good to know. I pay $15 for a 3 month supply of my copaxone and all the supplies. I also received the Copaxone Autoject., so we'll see how that goes. You can read my whole story on my website http://wls.efkfamily.net Thanks for all the info on the list. I've learned so much already, but always want more!! Happy New Year! Jan
Guest guest
TWO Questions for The Group: What is your opinion of the ABCs? and WHY isn't "WaterCure2.com" listed on the Web-Pages below? -Tom- Tom, I take Copaxone injections. It is the only one I would even consider at this point. I imagine you have to post the links yourself, so you might have to add the WaterCure link. (At least that's the way it's been on other lists I've been on. Guess I should try posting a link to my site.) Carol

Are you going to try diet, or any of the natural remedies for your MS? Carol
