Hi,

To follow on from ...

Mum often tells me that she doesn't know where she is.

She is fully aware of where her body is when she says this.

She is fully aware of living together in this house.

Mum calls this state 'being muddled' and always asks if I know how to get out

of this muddle (and thereby back to 'normal').

Sure do wish I could help her.

Another thought just occured to me. Our loved ones frequently get the

words they mean wrong. Maybe it isn't " home " as in a particular

building or place ... but " home " as a state of mind or time when life

was easier or normal or not confusing. Not really a comfortable

thought because we still can't take them there but it does add some

sense to their constant request to go home. I would want to " go home "

too.

Carpe Diem
