Guest guest
http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/07/27/nursing.cover.ap/index.htmltalks about reactions to a breastfeeding baby on the cover of babytalk- Yessss, we are making progress. The fact that Baby Talk did this is marvelous; now Mothering Mag is not the only one showing women's breasts appropriately. Bring on the "Eeeeewwww"; bring on the "Disgusting"! I can only hope that we are seeing signs of a tipping point. I sure hope so. I think this is the beginning of what I hope is a portrayal of women's breasts the way that they are supposed to be as baby feeders and not boy toys. It may take some time, but with baby magazines starting to move the country forward and if this is repeated and repeated, we may see the beginning of extinguishing the sexualization of breasts. About time! Ann R
