> Only $29.99? Will it be any better than the Everlast model?

It's actually a little confusing on price, which gives me pause.

On the static part of the site it just says " $29.99 " . The fine print adds

postage and handling. Well, fair enough. But in the video that plays on the site

they start out by saying " just 2 payments of $29.99 " . Then a bit later on they

say " call right now and we'll cut the price in half " .

But what exactly does " right now " mean when the ad plays on demand over the

internet?

Is the " just 2 payments " part nothing more than marketing hype used to create

the illusion of giving a discount when they claim to " cut the price in half "

later on in the very same spiel?

If I bought one I'd certainly be checking my credit card statements carefully.

Tim.

Yes, just about every infomercial I've ever seen starts out telling you a higher price, then to make you think you're getting a huge bargain, they say "But wait! If you call right now, we'll cut that price in half!!!" Since the infomercial is repeatedly shown over many weeks or months, they have no idea if you're "calling (or ordering) right now" ... it's just a gimmick to get you to hurry and make the purchase. It shows at the Iso 7X site that the cost is one payment of $29.95 + $12.99 shipping, plus an additional $6.99 shipping charge for the Iso Arms device. So the total would be $49.93.To: bullworkerclub Sent: Thursday, August 13, 2009 8:01:26 AMSubject: Re: Re: Iso 7X

The price is $29.99 and that includes the Bullworker and the Iso Arm device- but you pay and extra S & H charge for it.

Greetings,

It is with great curiosity I view the Iso 7X, mainly because prior to going to Bullworker Enterprises of India, I was dealing with China on my design. This design is the Iso 7X in a full size length (Model “M†on the Bullworker-USA.com website). When I left China for India, I soon found my China design on the Internet advertised for any Importer to pursue. This is a common occurrence in dealing with China; competition is fierce and ruthless. This did not cause me alarm due to the fact I had some very serious concerns about structural components that China was having difficulty in correcting. I sent the first model to Gert Kolbel for review and he also expressed his concerns pointing out several red flags in construction.

Until I receive my model (I ordered one), I will reserve my comments.

I would like to add that when ordering such a product, a pop-up appears that asks if you would like to order the “Higher-Quality†model for an additional $20. As I am curious what their “Higher Quality†model is, I upgraded. This is now a $70 purchase; including the Iso-Arms. As for the Iso-Arms device, this is a previous design I viewed first through Gert Kolbel many years ago and has been offered through different outlets. This device appears to be very inexpensive in its construction and at a total of $7 (p/h) I would not place a lot of confidence in its durability. I may be mistaken… however there are certain fixed expenses in manufacturing of certain components that one recognizes over time.

As for Chinese manufacturing, China is more than capable of producing very high quality products. It is just a matter of choosing the right manufacturer and spending the appropriate sums. I chose India because Bullworker Enterprises was already producing a Bullworker device and they spoke English, which allowed me to easily convey my designs and concerns. There is no better example of this than the product we are preparing for distribution this August, which has now been moved back to November… designs in the product that need to be corrected.

Again, my Iso 7X will arrive next week and I will be more than willing to offer my “opinion.†This will be my opinion and my opinion only.

As I have posted previously, the Bullworker Enterprises Super IV is a very well made product. I do not offer it. I chose not to because Bullworker Enterprises was willing to manufacture what I felt was a “higher quality†model for those who wanted a choice. It cost a little more, but I was very pleased with the results.

As for made in the USA, I am old enough to remember when we exported our products to the world and made no apologies in doing so; Competition and customer choice. That line of thinking has now come full circle. The market determines where we secure our manufacturing. In 1998, I pursued manufacturing the Bullworker in the USA and the costs would have resulted in a $150 item, unless sold in the millions (it has not happened again). I imported the X-5 from the UK and then switched to Japan because they were making a better product, though it cost more. Quality was

always at the forefront. India now makes what I feel is the perfect compromise of price and quality in the traditional steel-cable design.

To date, the highest quality Boworker model I have ever used was a Bullworker 3 from Germany, Model E on the BW-USA website. It was this model that resulted in the Bow Classic.

Respectfully,

Boworker

The answer is as clear as the nose on anyone's face. Chinese made products have the lowest quality workmanship. Chinese-made drywall used in the building industry is a known health hazard. Chinese made toys being recalled on a daily basis. Chinese made batteries for electronic items exploding. Need I say more?

The ad looks great ... but the product is so inexpensive, I have to wonder how good the quality could be. Like they say, you get what you pay for. Looks like a hybrid of the Bullworker and the X5 — has straps, but no plastic casing on the metal tube like the X5.I clicked Customer Service on their site to see if I could find out who's selling these, and the company is Ontel Products Corporation in Fairfield NJ. Never heard of them. Evidently they sell other products too, because it says under their contact information: "If you have questions about your Swivel Sweeper G2 order, please call toll-free ."I'll definitely stick with my Steel-Bow and X5, but I like their video clip  ... got me all fired up for my next workout!
