Guest guest
I think you should tell each CNA that comes to your house that you are videotaping in every room except the bathroom. Then see how long she stays in the bathroom. Ha Ha....Myrna in Missouri Re: Re: Hi Stevie > OMG...Will this nightmare ever end??? Guest guest
Stevie, I know that I shouldn't laugh, but I did get some chuckles about your e xperiences with the people you are dealing with. What a nightmare. It sounds as if you have things well in hand and it is good that you have people to add a little levity to this horrible situation. So sorry that this is occurring. Guest guest
Hello Arlene, Laughter is the absolute best medicine! Sometimes you just have to try to see the humor in it all. I hired the 4:00 CNA from yesterday and he is FABULOUS and so helpful! He caught on to our routine right away....jokes and all....and worked with the Hospice nurses who came to care for my Unc's bed sores. He's quite knowledgeable about the Elderly and even brought a notebook to take notes about this " Lewy Body " thing! He will work for us 5 mornings a week but not any nights because he takes care of a 104 year old man who lives by himself and is still ambulatory! This man takes no meds, has normal blood pressure, does not wear depends, and has no dementia! The only reason he stays at his apartment at night is to make sure the gentleman doesn't fall when he gets up to go to the bathroom three times a night. The stories he can tell! Thank you so much for your concern Arlene. I am so glad you are here. Peace to you, Stevie * * * * *** Stevie, I know that I shouldn't laugh, but I did get some chuckles about your e xperiences with the people you are dealing with. What a nightmare. Guest guest
Hi Stevie Yes! The weather is gorgeous. The wind has been a little much, but I love listening to the wind chimes on the patio and out my the pool. I could almost get my suit on and lay out. This is a much better winter than last year. Remember all the rain! Who would believe that it is February in CA. I hope you enjoy Ping Pong with the CNA. Prayers do work. Praise God!!
