Guest guest
I'm not doing anything except keeping on a high dose of CoQ10 and refuse to even contemplate taking anything. I still can't exercise without starting up the old symptoms again but I'm just hoping my HDL of 81 will help me. I'm on the side of believing that women with high cholesterol need it for a good reason. On a low fat diet my liver just seemed to churn out more and more anyway. Guest guest
Niacin in large doses can cause flushing, particularly in the face. There are some versions of it that don't do that. Guest guest
Yes I have been on prednisone since March - it was supposed to be for maximum 30 days but now when the doctors try to take me off my system goes haywire - I am being decreased 2.5 mg every month so it will be a long time till I am off - please be careful this doesn't happen to you. Guest guest
also, the famous Dr Adkins....recommended taking a flush free form called inositol hexicanicitinate or something like that:-( can't remember, altho it is downstairs and I am taking it. My hubby also took it and it worked great........from the health food store..He stopped for some reason??? quite a while back, before his HA..and now he is on doc prescribed Niaspan.....he did flush from it a bit but was told to take an aspirin with it..it counters the histamine affects..... The cardio man had never heard of the above mentioned one.
