Two observations about this newsletter: it is sponsored by a maker of Crestor,

one of the more dangerous statin drugs, and when I tried to register a " Yes " to

the question of being concerned about statin drugs, it didn't appear to accept

it.

what makes crestor more dangerous then any of the others. Sorry I am new here and may have missed it earlier.

One of the major side effects of statin drugs is muscle damage, which in extreme

cases can overload the kidneys with protein breakdown products. One earlier

statin, Baycor, was taken off the market because of too many cases of deaths

from this. There have been recommendations that Crestor also be banned.
