Guest guest
Hey There Jim! Do you have the latest Muscle MIdia mag? There are recipes in there, but that would be assuming you cook, which you may not. Do you have a Sam's Club or other wholesale buying store in your area? THey sell like a 10 lb bag og frozen skinless, boneless chicken breat. Get two bags, put one in your freezer, thaw thaw the other. Do you have a grill? you can grill have the chicken maybe even squeeze the juice of a whole lime on them before grilling, cook the other half in the oven for 30 min @ 350. Spoon a little BBQ on the oven cooked it you like that flavor. You can buy bags of salad in the produce section. You should have 12-14 chicken breasts to have plain, or cut up on the salad (you didnt mention getting any veggies) ctb
Guest guest
Jim, Here is a tasty meal I use late in the day when I want to lower my carb intake. I make a taco salad using very lean (4%-7%) ground beef, cooked, and placed on a bed of lettuce. 1/4 cup low fat cheese sprinkled on top. Then I mix 1 tablespoon of sour cream substitute with 1/2 cup salsa and a little lime juice. Mix that up and pour over all. Tastes like the real McCoy and very satisfying. Here's another one someone told me about for yams. Peel and boil a yam then cool and peel (like you would a white potato) then mash. Add cinnamon and apple pie spice ( you can also add a little Equal sweetener if it does not bother you). Tastes like pumpkin pie or sweet potato pie. Makes a wonderful low glycemic carb addition to any meal. Hope these help. ~ Laury
Guest guest
Hi Gloria, sorry to be so dim but then what do you do? Do you freeze it or does it only last a couple of days? Thanks a lot for all the info on the walking tapes. You've been a great help to me. Lean.
Guest guest
, I emailed you but I think some of mine are not going thru. Yes, You can cooke the whole 5-6 lb bag of skinless, boneless chicken and it will be fine to use it all wek. I like grilling half of it and then cooking half at the same time in the oven with some other seasonings on it to give me a variety. That is my main source of protein other than Myoplex, so I have it pretty well every day. At those same volume stores you can get a large bag of salad also (go for fresh " field greens " if you can find them. Iceberg lettuce mix is alot cheaper but the hutrional value is poor. Keep in mind, the darker green the leaves, the better for you. You can also get large bags of broccoli and alfalfa sprouts and added together you have a quick ready made meal topped with sliced chicken. For dressing i pix one part rasberry vinegar to two parts olive oil and a touch of honey. Easiest if you mix it in a jar and shake it up. Guest guest
Hi Gloria, Between you and my mouth is watering already!! I'm definitely going to try cooking the whole bag at once since I'm spending too much time in my least favorite room. Thanks so much. Lean.
