Guest guest
From what I just went through with my Uncle, the drugs that were given might be making her " sleep " , sort of in that " comatose-Lewy " thing I was talking about in an earlier post. After given drugs he was like that for over a week and gradually " came back " . Chin up...we are still with you! Stevie * * * * * * * Little concerned... Mom has been sleeping most of the day and not very responsive to the nurses... Can't get over there until after 6 PM either...
Guest guest
Hi So happy to hear that your Mom is doing well. I have continued to pray for her and you. Sounds a little more scary and serious than you had originally thought. She was in God's hands. And we will all continue to lift her up in prayer until she returns home. Guest guest
Hi , My heart is really going out to your mom. Its bad enough to have to go through LBD and then have this procedure done. Guest guest
Hi , I will continue to pray for your mom for a quick recovery. Wow, all those last minute changes before surgery would be a little overwhelming to handle. Keeping you and your mom in my thoughts. So glad your mom enjoys that ice cream. Here's to many more scoops of ice cream for her. Jan --- octoryrose wrote: > Mom made it through the biopsy, recovery room, and > overnight. Thank > you for all your prayers! Guest guest
, I'm sooo glad your Mom came through the surgery well and " WOW " , eating ice cream the day of... to me that's a great sign and blessing. Praise the Lord...! As someone else said, I pray there will be many more bowls she enjoys in the future... I will continue to pray for you and your Mom. I'm also praying the results are not LBD but something treatable. Power of prayer is amazing...!!! Thank you for taking the time to keep us all posted. I'm sure you're exhausted and having all those changes made at the last minute, unreal... I would have been out of my mind. You must be a very strong person. Please take care of yourself too...!!! As for the Drugs you mentioned, I'm familiar with them and do know they are needed after a Brain surgery. At that point they are trying to prevent damage to the brain from siezures and excess swelling. I know this because of my experience as a RN (pediatric oncology) plus my sister had to have emergency brain surgery for an anuerysm (years ago). Best of wishes, thoughts, prayers and hugs, Debbie vers , " octoryrose " wrote: > > Mom made it through the biopsy, recovery room, and overnight. Thank > you for all your prayers! Guest guest
, May be the effects from the Anasthetic that was used during surgery. Sounds like she was fairly alert yesterday after the procedure so I would check on what meds she's being given post op. She also may perk up more for family than nursing staff. I will keep you both in my prayers and hopefully this will pass. Thank's for keeping us posted so we know how to pray... Hugs, Debbie > > Little concerned...
