Guest guest
, The objective to the morning workouts/cardio in the morning on an empty stomach is to maximize the fat burning effect. You see, when you exercise on an empty stomach your body dips into stored fat. If you previously ate something which is not fully digested you will burn up what you ate for fuel instead of burning the energy in your fat cells. This fat burning effect does not stop after working out, it can last up to an hour or slightly more after working out. So, it is recommended for maximum fat burning, DO NOT eat within an hour after working out. Also eating keep track of your carbohydrates, a banana and the juice contain a good number of carbs along with the special K w/ milk. This might equal 2 1/2 or 3 servings of carbs. You might try omitting the banana and or juice and replace that with a few glasses of water or try a serving of precision protein which is very low carb and high in protein - (20 grams) in conjunction with your cereal. Remember what is suggested just a serving of protein and carbs 6 times a day. These are just my thoughts .
