Guest guest
This months Discover magazine has a very interesting article on Bacteria and the human body. It is well done and cites some very, very interesting research. This is an excellent perspective on how little we know about what we are doing to ourselves. and bacteria exposure. I consider it a " must read " Bob
Guest guest
Bob, I read the article and the implications are profound. I love the part where they say using " Koch's postulates " is misleading forpublic health and they give the example of Heliobacter pylori which is normal bacterial flora in the intestines but is the cause of ulcers. And then.........they show how bacteria becomes virulent due to environmental changes in the DNA from other bacteria. Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker had some very interesting data for coagulase-negative Staphylococcus that is methicillin resitant and colonizing in the sinus cavities of his patients. Anyway, you're right. The story is a must read but will e overlooked by the sporetrap testing crowd. If we're really lucky......the ACOEM will take a position on " toxic bacteria " and the AIHA will endorse it. What a country? Regards, Greg Weatherman aerobioLogical Solutions Inc.
