hi

for the last two or three weeks, I have noticed a drop in lyme-aid posts. At

Hi ,

I, too, have not been getting all the digests. I read the comments on

Lovett's article yesterday, but didn't recieve the digest with her actual

article until today...go figure. Also, earlier in the week I had almost two

days w/out any digest, I was just about to write to Robynn about the matter,

but then I finally recieved a one. Robynn, do you have any ideas for us as to

what is happening. Thank you in advance.

,

There has been a drop in email postings on . Much of this is do to

people going on vacation for summer. Everyday we gain new members to this

list and many of them do not post for a variety of reasons. Maybe some of

our regular posters have found reasons not to post? I'm not really sure.

Personally, I haven't noticed NOT receiving any messages. But I admit I do

not check the archives all that often, and when I do it's usually for a

specific reason. Would you mind doing me a favor? If you find a message

that ended up in the archives, but not in your email box will you tell

egroups? Their email is supportegroups If you can tell them as much

information about the email, that would be beneficial to them. Like what

number it is in the archive, what ISP you use, anything you can think of.

And then let me know as well so I can look into the situation.

Another possibility is that AOL, and many other ISPs, have certain safe

guards in effect to protect you. For instance any attachment titled

" ILoveYou " are automatically deleted from many servers because this is the

name of a recent virus. MAYBE AOL is blocking these messages for some

reason.

Another possibility is that your ISP (AOL) is just having the hiccups. Just

recently I discovered that my ISP (AT & T) held onto half a dozen of my emails

from the month of May, and then suddenly sent them out a couple of weeks

ago. I thought mail only got lost like that in the real world US Postal

System. I was a little embarrassed and completely frustrated by this. But,

there wasn't anything I could do about it.

I'm sorry this does not solve your problem. Please keep a look out for this

and keep me informed! I will do what I can to help.

This frustrates me so much! I had no idea this was a problem.

Please whenever this happens write to supportegroups Tell them as much

information as possible. Be sure to CC me in on your email so that I can follow

up with them.

I have not been at my own home this past week, but when I return I will keep a

closer eye on things. Who else has been having this problem? I need to know to

know if this is happening to other ISPs as well as AOL.

I do not know what else to suggest at this time.

I still can't figure out why I am not receiving any of Tess' posts but I get

everyone else but hers. I don't know if it has to do with or what. It

Tess does post and someone replies to hers by adding on a post is the only way I

see what Tess actually wrote.

No, I don't have any filters on and we don't have our email set up to not

get junk mail. It just started occuring about 2 weeks ago.
