Guest guest
Glucosamine also elevates blod sugars so if you are diabetic you might not be able to take it even though it helps the arthritis or inflammation. Gail I wonder if it's significant ? I'm diabetic ....

Gail Hello Gail, I do have diabetes but have my blood sugars completely under control without the use of medication's. Also they have gone down much lower since I have stopped using Lipitor. Thanks for the advise and I will keep a watchful eye on my bs when I start the use of Glucosamine. Jeanne
Guest guest
Jeane, what about the toxic effect on your pets, too ! One of my Tzu's went into seizures after using flea shampoo, and I never used it on her again ! If your pets are getting sick, look to the flea products, also, they get sick just as we humans do .If they're doing fine, then they can tollerate it . My Mom's cats died after using the flea collars . Les Hello Les, My dogs seemed to being doing just fine after I used the flea products on them. If ever I noticed anything unusual I would immediately discontinue the use of these products. My husband normally puts the medication's on our pet's but I just figured that I would try and help out this time as he already does so much for me these days. I am so very sorry that your Tzu's had seizures from the flea shampoo and your Mother's cat's had passed on. My God, not only our med's harm us, but our pet's med's harm them as well. Again, I am sincerely sorry. Jeanne

I'm sorry that your were damaged by these products, and people should be warned ! Yes, the pet world is at great risk too, without a doubt ! When my pets are prescribed anything, I look it up before I give it too them . Sadly, one of my Tzu's has Valley Fever, and she has to take a very strong fungicide to try and overcome this awful disease , breaks my heart to have to give her this , but I watch for toxic effects . Then there are the immunizations, but LOL I won't go into that here .... Les .
