Guest guest
how much does it cost to join weight watchers there in the USA? i can see what the online version costs, but i dont know how much it costs to attend the face-2-face meeting-based version. i assume that you get all of the books (journal, cookbook, food companion, dining out guide) and points calculator when you join? along with other stuff too, im sure. boy, jennifer hudson looks great doesnt she? :*carolyn. Guest guest
> yeah, I tried baby bell but the red wax bugged me. The current WW > favorite is Laughing Cow. oh no way, i LUV baby bell light and it is so portable because of the wax. the laughing cow is similar to cream cheese, but to actually eat a piece of cheese, id definitely go with the baby bell. :*carolyn. Guest guest
It depends on where you are, different areas are different prices. Here in SE Michigan it is $13/week but there's some great package deals (you pay for a set number of weeks in advance for a discount). That price gets you the meetings which includes the supportive environment of the group, help from the leader and receptionists, as many weekly trackers as you want, other printed material as needed, a weekly magazine with a recipe and helpful articles about the week's topic and accountability at the scale (which is huge for a lot people). You also get an orientation (which you can attend as many times as you want) and all the program materials you need to get going. You can attend as many meetings in a week as you want, you just pay once and weigh once. The 3 month journal, Complete Food Companion, Dining Out Companion and points calculator are all optional items you can purchase if you think they'll be helpful to you. There's also an online companion to the meetings (e-tools) which has the same tools as the online version of WW but you get all your program materials through the meeting room. We also have food items, electronic food scales, insulated mugs, cookbooks, measuring/seving spoons and other things (some centers have workouts too, the ones I usually work at don't so far though) available for purchase that are not available anywhere else (except possibly to online only members). Hudson looks amazing! We've had a lot of people come in and say they were joining because of the changes she'd made! I've read some articles interviewing her and she really sounds like she made some permanent, internal changes too. Guest guest
I just rarely eat cheese, except shredded as part of recipe, but this distinction is still good to know. Thanks! re: OT: WW question > yeah, I tried baby bell but the red wax bugged me.
