Yeah, Sandy, you tell them the reason they have to pasteurize milk

is because it's full of blood and pus and sh*t! Tell them they're

eating pasteurized pus and poop!

When you cram cows into a barn and feed them GMO grains and

pesticide ridden hay and pack them full of hormones to mass produce

milk, they get sick often, so they have to be fed antibiotics until

they collapse and die at 4-5 years old, (when they're taken to

Mcs to feed to humans) instead of 15 years like a grass-fed

cow.

That's the short answer.

I agree with that, but I must say that is not the way ALL dairies

are run. I have worked at many small dairies here in dairy country

Missouri, that I would not hesitate to drink the raw milk from the

tank. The problem being, then they take the milk from this clean

dairy and mix it in the truck with the milk from the dirty dairy

down the road.....Yech!! Yes, then they must cook it and kill it to

get rid of the nasties....what a shame.

Sandy,

Point them in the direction of " The Milk Book " by

s, MD. It is great and entertaining reading and contains all

these facts about why they really pasturize the milk on the store

shelves. If you drink pasturized milk, reading this book will make

you sick....<grin>

Sorry, I don't know of a good website besides realmilk.com.

Is this just one little reason not to drink the store bought milk?...

Un-Homogenized (left alone) means that the long chain fats are not

cleaved. Bio-important fats that we now know should be in the diet.

I think that 'homogenized fats' (proceesed fats) make folks FAT. We

don't need the new kinds of fats that homogenization makes for us,

yes it may make our milk " Look " nice but they make our bodies look

GROSS!!!!!

I may be alone on this but I do not think or worry about the blood &

pus part. I know most cows, in spite of the horrible life, hormones

and confinement seem to make pretty good milk anyway. I have a big

problem with what goes on with the milk on the molecular level when

it is " processed " .

With over 900 bio-active ingredients in Raw Milk I'd beg to guess

that there are lots more than a top 10 reasons

> Blair, another question. My mind is just spinning with all the info

I am learning. So I tell people why i feed my family raw milk and

they say " where are you getting this info or thats not really true " .
