Guest guest
I would recommend this group also,. I take I-thyroid, its good stuff Mandi x Dear There is an amazing yahoo group called thyroidpatientadvocacy they are so knowledgeable and have a very natural and balanced way to dealing with thyroid issues.. The main treatment Docs recommend in UK is thyroxine, however since the thyroid has many substances which have to be brought into balance, this group believes that all the levels need addressing. I think that they are the best source of sound advice and details of what tests to ask for.. and they will then interpret them for you.. Good Luck Tracey Hi, I am sorry this is off topic, but so many of you are so knowledgeable. Has anyone ever heard of taking Iodine for hypothyroidism? I have two dry spots ontop of my feet the size of quarters. They have been there maybe around a year. They get dry and scaley in the winter. They tingle when I rub over them. Any ideas? I have lost a lot of faith in regular doctors. I don't want to take life long medication if I don't need to. I found this website and wondered if there is some truth to it. http://www.1-thyroid.com/?gclid=CLTjpPWEsqoCFUvCKgodikvD8w I definately prefer the holistic way. I think I may make an appointment, but don't know if I should call a family Dr. or a dermatologist. Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks in advance,
