Guest guest
Hi Helen If you believe 75% of autism could very well be caused by heavy metals such as mercury lead and aluminium then first of all it follows you want to remove these from a suffferer if they are high in these If you do Doctors data hair test or porphrin test or both (like we did) and find you have heavy metal toxicity then pretty much the only way forward is chelation (making sure you have done the prepaeration in advance of getting some supps in place to help gut) You have a choice of a lot of different chelation methods, but all of these seem uncontrolled, or high dose, compared to Cutler which is low dose and safe So given the choices, a lot of people including us choose Cutler based on it being the safest method. You will get raised yeast (which you can address with candex, cortex charcoal vit c) - this is a GOOD sign. If you see nothing changing then chelation isnt going to work. We did have yeast issues but we stayed at the lowest dose for many rounds and found these are then minimised. As time goes on, the weeks pass, and we have the wonderful k nowledge that metals are reducing and our child is getting better. We have done 63 rounds now and will continue as long as it takes. We are seeing speech now and also toilet training, which are our last 2 remaining issues, all the other ones having been solved We are ver happy to be doing cutler chelation - our latest hair test showed toxic metals down by probably 40% (after a year) - we are veyr happy about that. We have high mercury so need to get it out and Cutler is achoieveiung that for us So highly recommended basically Good luck > To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe > Date: Fri, 5 Aug 2011 10:09:26 +0000> Subject: Any Postive Feedback on Andy Cutler Chelation Protocol Please> > Hi> > I'm thinking about starting Andy Cutler's Chelation Protocol. I've been looking into it for a while. I was unable to attend the conference but I have the book and know what's required. The thing that's stopping me from starting is I'm constantly reading about problems with yeast, regression, seizures etc (not particularly on this group but others). The replies that are given are always try adding another supplement to the already massive list. Does anyone have any positive feedback on Chelation here? I will be starting on DMSA only at 5mg per dose. > > Thank you> > Helen> > > > > > ------------------------------------> > DISCLAIMER> No information contained in this post is to be construed as medical advice. Guest guest
Hi Thank you for your reply. It is very helpful and just what I need to hear. Just one question, we did a hair test in January 2010. According to the AC counting rule it did show Mercury but I was told it wasn't the best test to do (Genova Diagnostics Europe - Elemental Hair Analysis). Would you suggest another test, that's also up to date before we start? If so, do you have details of Doctors Data Test? Thanks Helen > > > Hi Helen > > If you believe 75% of autism could very well be caused by heavy metals such as mercury lead and aluminium then first of all it follows you want to remove these from a suffferer if they are high in these > > If you do Doctors data hair test or porphrin test or both (like we did) and find you have heavy metal toxicity then pretty much the only way forward is chelation (making sure you have done the prepaeration in advance of getting some supps in place to help gut) > > You have a choice of a lot of different chelation methods, but all of these seem uncontrolled, or high dose, compared to Cutler which is low dose and safe > > So given the choices, a lot of people including us choose Cutler based on it being the safest method. > > You will get raised yeast (which you can address with candex, cortex charcoal vit c) - this is a GOOD sign. Guest guest
's new ABA provider [Risca] thinks he is a really co-operative, sweet boy, she never seen before AC Chelation but suffice to say non co-operative was part of his original dx!!! We still have blips but the changes really have been amazing and permanent, now just over a year in, started chelating at approaching 13 yrs old so don't let anyone ever tell you it's too late either.
