Guest guest
The feeling's mutual . It is so beneficial to be able to meet in person. The support from the group here also helps so much. Thanks and everyone else. I am just on the early path of this journey and appreciate everything I have learned from all of you. doris stimtimminss wrote: Because of the information shared here about purple toes, lowered blood pressure, bed sores, I became proactive today and ordered my mother some lambswool slippers. Her feet have swollen, shoes don't fit anymore, and velcro slippers are even leaving a slight mark on her feet. I have been concerned about her heels resting daily on her elevated footrests, then in bed, even though the nh provides puffy pillow supporters. With them toes are bare, and I want her entire foot warm and comfy. I give credit to the future prevention of pressure sores on her heels to the support of this conference and my meeting with Doris (Toronto) yesterday. I m feeling invigorated and ready to continue the journey! Thank you Doris, thank you all. Welcome to LBDcaregivers.
